The Liverpool quartet of Fabinho, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk have missed out on the men’s UEFA Player of the Year award after they were left out of the final three-man shortlist as revealed by the football body on Friday.

Van Dijk, Salah, Fabinho and Trent were regulars in the Liverpool squad as they reached the Champions League final last season. They all featured in the Champions League final which they lost to Spanish champions Real Madrid by a lone goal. Continue reading →
